AvaTrade Code 128979: The Real Story
Someone asks me about partner codes every couple of weeks. Usually the same question: do you get discounted fees or free trading?
Nope. AvaTrade charges zero commission on forex. You pay the spread. That's your trading cost. A partner code won't affect it.
Partner code 128979 gets you access to the deposit bonus. Additional trading capital depending on your deposit. Simple as that.
How much bonus do you receive?
A $1,000 deposit gets you $200.
Deposit $2,000 for $400 bonus.
$5,000-$9,999 earns you $1,000 bonus.
Maximum bonus is $14,000 for deposits above $100,000. Not many traders reach that level.
British traders get £160 bonus on £800 deposits. Top tier reaches £11,200.
You can open an account with $100. Minimum for any bonus is $1,000.
Where to enter the code
During registration. Below the phone field, there's a small link saying "Have a Partner Code?". Click it. A text box appears. Type **128979**.
Most people avatrade partner code miss it because it doesn't look like a proper form field until you click.
Sometimes it shows as invalid, don't worry. Complete your registration. Message your account manager before you deposit. Request partner code 128979 be added. They handle this regularly.
Bonus withdrawal conditions
There's a volume requirement.
About 10,000 units for every dollar of bonus. $200 bonus requires 2,000,000 units of trading volume. Slower if you're trading micro lots. Happens faster than you'd think if you're active.
Your deposit is yours. Take it out anytime. Bonus funds remain locked until volume is met.
Something useful to understand: while the bonus is locked, it still counts toward your margin. You can hold larger positions than your deposit alone would allow. Newer traders benefit from that extra cushion.
